• Stop your vehicle, no matter how minor the accident.
  • Check to see if anyone is hurt. Call for an ambulance if needed.
  • Call and Wait for Police. Cooperate fully with the Officer. Give only information necessary to explain how the accident happened. Never admit guilt. Anything you say can and will be used against you to defeat your compensation.
  • Identify the other driver. Get their name, address, telephone numbers and insurance information.
  • If possible take photos of the accident and anyone that is injured.
  • You may need medical attention for injuries that are not apparent immediately after the accident. You should be seen by your doctor as soon as you can after the accident.   • Inform your insurance company of the accident, but do not give any information about what happened to the insurance adjuster (no matter what company is involved) until after you contact David & Rizzi.

Often times an insurance adjuster will contact you immediately after the accident attempting to obtain your release for a small amount of money. Dont assume the insurance adjuster is looking out for your best interest.
